Switching to 390

I have a 69 F100 that originally had a 360 in it. I am switching to a 390. I have a 3 speed on the column. Will I have to change or modify the transmission?

The 360 and 390 are basically the same engine. Just stroked differant. It will bolt up fine.

nope aint gotta change a thing everything will bolt right together the only real differance between the two motors is the stroke.
