Rough starting
Hello all,
I just bought a 95 F-250 4x4 w/7.3L powerstroke, when I start the truck it starts fine then it goes into a miss condition. Almost like one side of the engine is not firing and it throws the check engine light. I dont know too much about diesel engines, but I did drain the water seperator and check the o-ring. Anybody else have this problem??

Rough starting
It is probably your cam sensor about to crap out on you but, in any event, if it is turning on the check engine light it has set a code in your computer which, once retreived, will tell you which direction to go. If you have more than one code, service the first one first and see if the others go away.
