Different factory 6 CD changers?

Different factory 6 CD changers?
Is there a difference between an "audiophile" 6 disk changer and a 6 disk changer that doesn't have the audiophile designation? I am looking at F150's/250's and see that the two descriptions cost the same ($295).
Thanks for the great forum! I have been lurking for a few weeks and have enjoyed the mix of people and ideas...

Do not, I repeat DO NOT, get the non-Audiophile 6-cd in dash.
Most (if not all) of the standard 6-CD indash have an issue with a very
annoying high-pitched noise... it is a built-in cooling fan. It is an issue
in just about every Expedition (non-Eddie Bauer) without the Audiophile.
I have just bought an '04 Expy XLT and cannot stand the noise. I am working
with the dealer to replace. Have heard of some owners going back to the
dealer having the radio replaced 3-4 times with no luck.

I went back to the dealer yesterday and found out I was wrong about the cost of the two different 6 CD changers. There is an extra charge of $250 for the "Audiophile" option. My salesman said that both head units are the same. The Audiophile option adds an Amp, better speakers and a Sub under the rear bench.
I have a new problem today... I drove a couple of 250/350 6.0 Diesels and now I don't think I will be satisfied with a 150 5.4 gasser..... NOW I'VE GOT TO SHARPEN MY PENCIL AND SEE IF I CAN FIND A FEW MORE $$$... LOL

Don't believe your salesman. Check my poll on the Expedition/Navigator forum. Approx 30 people replied to my poll about the noisey fan in the std 6-cd... All the Eddie Bauer's with Audiophile reported that their 6-CD's were quiet.
