Ford ESP Pricing

Jeff (1956MarkII),

I have a new 04 F150 XLT SCREW 5.4 3.55LS Tow package, with 1800 miles (no vibrations)

lol. I am considering buying the Ford ESP through your dealership. Can you provide pricing? I am interested in the extended care 6 year / 75,000 mile warranty.

I imagine it will be quite a bit cheaper than the $1500 non-Ford warranty the dealer sold me without my knowledge... A refund (to the bank) is in the works... That really upset me...

I wish I would have found this forum and your dealerships great offer before I bought my truck, maybe next time.

I think you're referring to the "ExtraCare" warranty. If you've got a 4x2, the cost is $865; if it's a 4x4, then the price is $955. Both prices are with Ford's $50 deductible, and do not include sales tax (7.25% here in NY).

$1500 for an aftermarket warranty, huh? And they cost the dealer a lot LESS than Ford's ESP costs us. And you cancelled it? So much for his profit margin this month!
