Nice start, i'd like to see some pics on the trans tunnel when ya get around to it. can't wait to see it finished, but just one little quetion.... how ya gonna work on the dang thing ? welcome to the FTE, fever
Thanks for the replies! Those pics are about three weeks old, the body work is now pretty much done besides one fender. I also installed a roll pan and my three inch exhaust. I'll take a few more pics this weekend. The truck was meant to be the lowest street rod in town. I think I'm just about there. Also for those that are wondering how I drive the truck, with the truck the way it sits in the picture nothing is touching the ground. I can drive it like that. I raised everything up in the truck, motor mounts, trans mounts and raised the entire rear leaf spring setup, which also means I raised the bed floor. Thanks again for you kind words.
I was wondering if you could tell me how you raised the bed floor? I'm in the process of bagging my truck and I'm 99% sure my pumpkin will interfere with the bed floor. I'm not going as low as you, however it is still a concern.
I welded in some 1" tube to the bed sides at the desired height. Then bought a sheet of metal and cut it to size. I also have the 10" steo frame which comes thru the bed floor, so you can see the rear bags. As for the MII setup, not sure where I bought it, it's been about a year ago, I do know it's from ND, small rod shop, ran me about $350.

I bought a bag kit and everything for mine but I have a 50. I wanted to know if you just welded the suspension in and went with the body drop. I think I understand what you did but I just wanna be sure. I wanna do the same thing but only be about 1/2 inch higher. The CA roads I drive are horrible. If you could help with all the details that would be great. I would e-mail you but I havent reached that post amount yet. Thanks
My email address is scr8pinhrd(at)yahoo(dot)com. Feel free to drop me a line and we can discuss this off the forums. I also have a ton of pics of the entire process, plus the bed is currently off my truck so I can take some good shots of the rear setup.
