A boost tube "should" hold the wastegate closed longer.

Push 100HP through a truck with a chip and you're asking for trouble. You HAVE to have an exhaust system added and you must use an EGT gauge plus you shouldn't tow with it. Its just too much heat. I got off the phone today with a customers who's buddy just got denied warranty coverage for melting the turbo with a 100 WD chip after pulling a boat to Florida. I won't sell that high and I don't like selling 90HPs.

Your truck engine is already over boosted -- if that weren't true, you wouldn't have a waste gate on the turbo. Getting more boost on a diesel engine doesn't automatically give you more power as it would on a gasoline engine. You need more fuel to get more power and more fuel will automatically give you more boost because of increased cylinder pressures, up to the maximum volumetric effeciency. Increased boost will also mean higher turbine speeds. You need to be careful not to overspeed the turbine, trashing the bearings and blowing the turbines apart through centrifugal force.
