Bad Karma?

I tell ya, I've had my truck for a week today. I've been so careful with it. I park it away from other vehicles, I'm careful to keep from leaning on it and scratching the black clearcoat paint, I tell my kids not to ride their bikes, scooters, pogo sticks, etc. in the driveway by the truck, I resist the urge to wipe off the fingerprints on the doors so as to avoid the fine scratches, no feet or knees in the seats, no standing up and sticking heads out of the moonroof, I park it as far to the side of the driveway as I can to allow the birds in the trees to one side plenty of room to do their 'business' w/ a clear shot to the ground...and what do I find this morning???

Chocolate pudding in the back seat.

My daughter apparently did not want to throw out the leftover pudding in her lunchbox, apparently did not feel like taking her lunchbox into the house yesterday, and apparently thought that sun warmed chocolate pudding was a NICE smell to soak into the upholstery.

I guess Karma felt I needed a big kick in the @$$.

Sorry guys- I had to rant.

Only after the first scratch, dent, ding will be able to finally enjoy your truck. Pudding doesn't qualify!

Huntsman is right, you know...

Just go get a ballpeen hammer and go all around your truck putting dents in it.

You will never have to worry about that again.

I've had that happen to me way to many times in the past. Once, it was crayons in all different colors that melted. I never really got that out of the upholstery.
So since I can't trust my kids. My solution is that everytime I have them in my truck, they can't get out until they take all of their junk out. I tell them that anything left behind goes in the trash. And I clean up everytime I park the truck at the end of the day.
As for the dings and dents. I've given up on those. You can't control that no matter how hard you try. Fortunately, my truck was never in prestine condition on the outside when I bought it. I'm definately having a nice paint job done someday. But not until I get it lifted a little more.

Take a deep breath, and clean..clean..clean.....

A friend of mine once had a problem with her young daughter. Seems she took a liking to those "mini-moo" single-serve cream packs they serve in restaurants. She would just drink them straight from the container. Her mom didn't want her to do it, so she would secretly get a handful of them everytime they were in a fast food restaurant and stash the half empty containers under the passenger car seat. In the middle of summer her mom started getting this horrible smell in the car, and finally found her "stash" of curdled cream containers. That smell never got out of that car.

thats another reason i dont like to own new vehicles. anytime i get another scratch, dent or sign of rust on my truck, i just shrug it off.

it adds character anyway.

Tuff Stuff from your local auto supply store. If that doesn't get it out, nothing will. Hope you like chocolate.
