Micro Tuner

Just purchased the Micro Tuner from you for my 1999 E-350 PSD.
I installed the 60HP program in about 6-7 minutes in the comfort of the drivers seat. Sheet instructions for a read through only, the Micro Tuner askes all the questions and prompts you through the process. EXTREMELY EASY, and EXTREMELY SATISFIED.
Would recommend to anyone looking or needing a little extra from the PSD.
Most Noticable Changes:
1. Very slight constant turbo noise at low speed and idle.
2. New throddle response, all the time, with total elimination of
turbo lag time.
3. Smooth and positive transmission shifting.
4. Far less cabin engine noise, very noticable difference at all
speeds.
5. Much quicker and quieter acceleration from a stop.
6. More car like in slow down situations w/foot off the gas.
Prior, the engine drag was greater, now it glides along, can take
my foot off the pedal earlier when approching stop.
The test was a short 250 mile run, next weekend a trip to Florida will really be fun. There are a few hills in Alabama where the trans would come out of overdrive while using cruise. With the extra power, very unlikely now.

A change in mileage statement would be pre-mature. I will say that the mileage appears to be the same. A lot of variables such as air temperature and moisture content can affect mileage. Let see how much fuel used from the NW side of Chicago to I-24 and Rt. 41 Flying J truck stop. Before, I always had 5-6 gallons remaining.

In General----VERY SATISFIED----and would recommend.

Let us know how it goes after the trip! I just wish the SCMT was available for the Ford gassers!

Micro Tuner

Since this now seems a more appropriate thread...

I too am happy with the micro tuner. After dealing with my wife/Kroger/Fuel issues everything is on track.

I notice all the things you mentioned except quieter, mine sounds "different" not louder, not quieter just different.

My mileage also seems the same, and with a 29 gallon tank, that's a pain! But, I have a 48 gallon on order, once I get it installed I'll let everyone know if it's worth the $500.00 it cost.

Installed my SCMT this morning before taking the kids to school. Was very easy. I think the instructions worried me more; it is very, very simple to use. Just follow the Microtuner.

Anyway, I did also notice that the exhaust note was a bit different. It does seem quieter, but maybe it's just a little deeper because of the extra fuel that insulates the reflection of noise?

Regardless, the standard map rocks!

I've only had this big girl for two weeks, but I had become acustomed to the foot motion needed to get the diesel moving. Now, the response is snappy and crisp like my fuel injected road racing motorcycle. (Well, maybe not the same, but you get the idea...)

The shifting is just wonderful!

Won't be towing until later in the May, but I am excited....
