Sorry for the delay in a reply. I called the number on the website and spoke with Pat. I told him I had heard of him after reading posts on this forum. I read in a post somewhere that there is a 20% discount if you mention that your part of this forum. The price wasn't something I negotiated that is just what he quoted me. Pat was a real nice guy and was easy to work with. I told him I was comparing several different brands of aftermarket rotors including the performance friction brand and was looking for the best bang for my buck. I'm not sure but maybe that had something to do with it. I didn't order the rotors during our first phone conversation but I appreciated the fact that he called me two days later to see if he could answer anymore questions. After all the good things I read about ART along with his customer service he provided I decided it was the best choice for me.
I just checked out the website again and noticed that if you put your mouse over the price list tab you will see a group discout tab above it. If you click on the group discount tab it showes the pads and rotors for $350 (99 and newer 4x4 SRW or Dually). The price does seem to be higher for the 2 wheel drive trucks and Excursions. Mine were ordered for a 99 4x4 dually. I also ordered a different pad than the ones he usually includes. I believe they came with a semi metalic pad but I wanted the "Z" rated performance friction pad.
I have a 1999 f350 4x4 psd. Both front and back rotors need to be replaced. Is it a difficult job? Where can i get could instructions? Im not to worried about removing the back rotors, although i have never done that before, Its the front ones that scare me with the locking hubs im afraid of messing it all up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
