Got $200..What should I get
I have a 5.4L and want something close to stock. I like the FM 70, Dynomax Super Turbo, and the Magnaflow. I do not care to have shiney tips. I would not care to even see to tip at all. I have read and listened to I can't do it anymore. I have not heard any of them in person but on the sound clips the FM 70 sounds the best. Thanks in advance

i have the 5.4 and just replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaster suv/performance. everything else is stock. its not too loud - a good bit more than stock when you go through the gears. its hard to hear at cruising speed. very quiet at idle. i bought it online and had it installed locally for $50.

Is interior resonance an issue? Flowmasters normally create quite a bit. You could also run a Gibson muffler. They have the quietest in cab sound ratings, but can still maintain a mellow note at the tailpipe.
