Just ordered my 6 inch suspension system from Skyjacker yesterday. It is supposed to be an awsome kit. The kit comes with new rear springs instead of blocks under the factory springs like Procomps and Fabtech's. And it has the new S-Coil spring over shock for the front with skidplates and the whole works. I am supposed to have it in a few weeks and will have it installed immediately. When ordering the kit I was on a conference call with the Skyjacker rep and he said that they only have 50 kits to start and 47 are already ordered so if anyone is wanting a real suspension system for their 04 you better hurry. They dont know when more will be available.
Well with owning my own 4x4 company the kit was still pretty pricey. It actuall ygoes for about $2500. Of course I cant disclose what my actual cost is of the kit but i wasn't very much off of what the kit goes for. You have to take into consideration then reputation that Skyjacker has in developing and manufacturing "suspension systems" and not just mass producing the everyday so called "lift kit". These guys really make a impressive product which is fully functional and a step ahead of all of the rest of the companies that manufacture suspension products. For one the Skyjacker system is the only system that offers replacement rear leaf springs instead of using rear blocks to raise the factory springs and they have really designed the new S-Coil front shocks to beat out the competition if you would consider them competition. Great kit and I will let all of you know how it works out in a few weeks when Skyjacker dropships it to me. I dont have a worry in the world about the Skyjacker Suspension System, thats why they the "Bear of Suspensions"
Well the installation will be done by myself and with the carefull assistance of my ASE certified technician that works for me. I like to get involved to learn how to install and also to be able to answer any questions that my customers might have and to be able to solve any problems that might arise if need be.
