Ford, in their infinite wisdom,l has never acknowledged there is a major problem over this issue, regardless of how many times it has happened. Why did you buy a new head instead of heli coiling the blown out hole? There's a couple different fixes for this that dont require a new head, and are just as reliable.
I would save everything and call a lawyer, every state has laws protecting the consumer. I just fought Yamaha with and am still going to court because they tried to screw me. Ford made a lot of money off us and there is no reason for them not to stand behind their problems. To many die hard fans make excuses for MFG's, Ford could care less about you and is more than happy to hide it's head on problems until force to fix them. Remember the courts don't make them pay more then they should they only make them do what they should have done in the first place. So if Ford knows they are going to have to fix this then they stick the money in the bank and wait, if someone sues them they fix it and move on if no one does they just keep the money. Last you do not want to sit and wait for someone else to start a class acction suit because in 10 years you might get a $50 gift cert. If you bring the suit and it becomes a class then you and the lawers get the money if it does not go class acction then you get what you should have gotten in the first place. In the end for you to have to eat a $3000 Ford problem after giving them 30k + for the truck is pure BS. People try to blame the lawyers and such but if Ford would do the right think you would never call a lawyer.
