Engine and Transmission Mounts
I am getting ready to put a TCI Mustang II IFS and rear suspension kit with a 68 Mustang 8" rear end on my 50 F-1 frame. Also plan to install a 302 with C4 and would like recommendation on the best motor and transmission mounts. I have been looking at Chassis Engineering but want to consider the best possibilities. Any comments based on experience are appreciated.
Also, do you typically install the backer plates before the mounts are installed or after?
