Trying to step up
Has anybody seen a small tubular step/running board for F250 reg. cab? I have seen single horseshoe shaped steps and full length tubes but not a tube 1 to 2 feet long. I've seen a step like I am looking for, but it's for the trailer hitch, to access the rear of the vehicle. I really don't care for the looks of any steps, BUT
I damaged muscles in my thigh, so I gotta get a step or I'll be stuck in wife's Jeep forever. I cry every morning when I see her climb up into MY truck and drive away.(but it sounds good)
Please help me, I've fallen and can't get up.

I have never seen what you describe being sold, but I know the hitch steps you are talking about.
You could have some made, or check out the kodiak steps, they are pretty slick.

Supercoop... I just brought my ultra black steps from www.acmetruckparts.com.. I have a 04 SD regular cab also.. the Deezee 3" round step comes in 2 kind..ultra black part # is 71204146 (179.95).. and the stainless steel # 71204116 (319.95).. and they have the great rate ship to your company address for $9.95.. They said they cannot ship to house address..I thought I save some $$ on the ultra black since I have the Dark Grey metallic F-250 Hope this help!

Have you seen Go-Rhino univeral steps #120(B,C or PS) depending on finish? They also make the hitch step you refer to. Also Dee-Zee makes universal tube steps that might be short enough for you. I saw a pair on their site in the outlet store. Lund makes paintable steps called " Runners" which might fit your look. Carr products makes 1 to 2 foot long Super Hoop steps in polished or black. All of these places have websites to see what I am talking about.

My truck had the factory running boards witch i hated.I am a welder so i made my own stainless nerf bars.I made them so they are higher and tighter to the truck.I could send you pics if you would like some custom steps made.
