sensor issues after swap
i swapped my 302 in my 88 f150 for a lincoln 302 ho. since the install the idle is a lil high, 1000, the mechanic says its because the new motor isnt reading the o2 sensor. has anyone come across this or know how to fix it. there are no engine lights on and most of my emissions system has been gutted as there is now smog testing in my area (thank god) so can i tear that damn o2 sensor out or modify it some way.
