I did the 302 and c6 swap a couple of years ago, then I went to a 460 and c6. It took 2 different drive shafts. I still have the shaft that I used with the 302. It is 53 1/4". That all depends on what tail shaft is on your c6 and what yoke is on your rear end. This is the way I did mine. I bolted my engine and transmision in place. I slid the transmision yoke all the way in to the transmision and then back out 1 1/2". Then measured from the tranny yoke to the rear end yoke. I went to the wrecking yard and went through a pile of drive shafts and found one the right lenght and with the right size saddels for the u joints. That driveshaft cost me $20 dollars. I took it home, added new u joints, and installed it. Do not take the 53 1/4" length as gospel. Like I said, you could have a different tailshaft length or different yoke length. The best way is measure your specific set up. Going to the wrecking yard and buying a shaft is way cheaper than having one made, and I have heard some people say that when you have one made they aren't always ballanced correctly.
