A freind owns a '96 Ford Explorer with a 6 cyl. 156 HP Engine. Now he has a problem with his automatic tranny and he ask me what kind of transmission he drive.
I don't know not much about the '96 Explorer so I cannot tell him what he want to know. I suppose that he drive a AOD but I'm not sure. What Tranny's are installed into that model?
The second question....
He bought a set of 10 x 15 " rims for the rear and 8 x 15 " rims for the front axle and guess what tire he put on the rims.....
It look's terrible but the installed 31 x 13,5 x 15 Super Swamper. For my opinion not realy the right tire for his Explorer but....
Is a guy or gal out there who know what tire pressure is good for those tires?
I told him to use 30 psi (that is what is written on the tires).
