Ok, I am driving myself a bit crazy and have a quick question for one you experts. I took off my old alternator and finally fixed my wiring harness. The problem is I cant quite remeber where the wires go since it took me a couple of weeks to find the time to get it all done.
If I am right the large black connects to the 'BAT' connection. The red wire goes to the 'STA' connection. There is also a rubber thingy that has a clip on it. Does that connect to the ground on the alternator and then get grounded to the frame. Is this correct? Am I missing any connections. My truck was modified in its life and somethings were not done correctly.
