Flowmaster Super 40

Has anyone heard a super 40 on a V10 yet? Supposed to flow better than the original 40.

Check it out well before you try it. I asked for a FlowTech Afterburner for Christmas from my wife. When I handed it to my favorite muffler shop guy he looked at me like I was nuts. He asked me twice; "are you sure" ? I said "yea, why not" ? His response had something to do with the firing impulses of the V-10, and the overall length of the exhaust system which can cause alot of resonance. I know what he means now. I don't know if the pick-ups have the same resonanting qualities of the van, but you can definitely hear it, especially at 55-65 mph, it's a very irritating droning sound. I'm going to try a Magnaflow or something similar. The short, wide open type of muffler and that V-10 is not a good match in my mind. It brings out all the bad sound tones of the V-10, and none of the good. I heard an awesome V-10 pick-up about a year ago. I could not catch the guy driving it though to ask what he had for exhaust, unfortunately.

I had a cat-back dual system made up using a FM 40 original series and I can not hear any interior noise when the windows are up and it has a good pronounced tone at the tailpipes.
