Motor mount question

I have some questions about motor mounts for the 335 series motors. I have a '72 F-250 that someone transplanted a 351m or 400 in (I dont know which one of the two it is but....). Anyway, someone went through the trouble to weld in some perches for the motor. These perches are solid, but At some point I would like to cut them out and put standard perches in. Are the perches for the 335 series motors specific to these motors, or will others work (like FE mounts). And if the 335 series mounts are what I need, will they bolt into the stock holes (assuming they werent destroyed in the engine swap).

Thanks for any input.
Tim

Same from 302/351W/335 series. FE not compatible.
Yes they will bolt in if you get them.
Personally, I would leave well enough alone. Welding on frames is generally bad practice. Cutting or grinding what you have now may (big maybe) leave the frame weaker than what you have now. Fortunately for you, the engine perches do not land in the most highly stressed section. (Which seems to be the area from the steering box back to the trans crossmember, from anacdotal reports. )
