Engine Swap Question
I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Anyhow, I am about to purchase a 97 F-350 Crew Cab Dually. It currently has a 7.5L V* EFI Gasoline Engine with 108,000 miles on it. The engine runs great, but I would prefer a diesel. How hard would it be to put a turbo diesel engine in it's place? Will one fit? Is it recommendable? And about how much should it cost me to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't give you any technical advice, but I've seen the inside and out of both gas and PSD trucks and you could not pay me enough to attempt it. You would be much better off buying a diesel or learn to like the gas burner. Just my opinion though...........
