Okay, like some of you out there, I've had it with my '04. Don't get me wrong, I love this truck but I'm fed up with the problems it has. I'm considering ordering an '05 (when available). For those of you "in the know", can I expect that allot of the problems/bugs will be ironed out? Or will I be in for the same dissappoitment? Any insider info would be appreciated.
How do I answer a question like this? Ford's official line would be something like, "due to continuous product improvement, the following quality-control advancements have been made, etc...). "Insider info" means it comes from someone within Ford Motor Co., right? Who at Ford is going to tell me on the sly, "hey, listen, the '05s are going to be just as bad, if not worse, than the '04s. You guys will never sell another F-150 again!" I just don't see how anyone can answer your question honestly, or with any amount of useful info.

I think you missed his point. It's not that they'll tell you "they're going to be bad" it's "we found a couple of quality contol issues and they'll be corrected for the 2005's when we retool".
Yeah, maybe I did miss the point. Problem is, the dealers are the last to get any info from Ford. Maybe someone that works at Norfolk or Kansas City can jump in here with something concrete.
