Shawn, Go to the top of this forum section and go through the first two forums getting ideas on getting started. Lexington is only an hour away from me. You get things rolling and if you want to have a get together, I'll try to come and help you get started. Lexington is kinda centrally located with in the state.
Our NCFTO club has met at the Central Fire Dept, and High Point lake in the last year. There are other truck owners in that area that might be interested.

well i see we have one more to the nc chapter here in nc i am in lexington with a 1972 custom i welcome to nc ford chapter..now your name did you come by it from the band godsmack?
Hello all. I'm new to the group and just reading along on the need elect our leader for here in NC. My question is: what is required of the leader? I only have so much time in the day, between work and far too many hobbies. However, if time can be made, I'm willing to help out.
Maybe we just elect our group leader as a figure head, but all take on certain responsibilities to share the load.
Like I said...I'm willing to help out. I'd be willing to take the position of group leader if need be. However, I know I don't have the time to do it alone. My job requires me to be on the road 40% of the time, and then add in time to work on my truck, a few other hobbies (slot car & rc car racing, helping a friend with legend cars), and family obligations...you all know what I mean.
One thing I can do is put together some graphics stufff...logos for FTE approval for shirts, hats, decals, etc. I should be able to make the meetings. As for any other gatherings, we can do as one of my friends does with his organization...have informal ones at any local car show, and hold quarterly gatherings.
Just some ideas....
Hey guys. I am new here but live in Archdale I would also help when I can. Work does keep me busy and wife has my list 3 miles long, but with advance notice I would enjoy getting together. Let me know if there is anything I could do.
I definately think we can make it work, provided the leader isn't put into a position to take on the entire load. Heck, provided enough people are willing to help out, I'd even consider doing it.
I'll be off racing slot cars this weekend (Divisional race in Cary), so everyone have a good weekend.
Thank You for allowing me to Join this group/chapter!
Look, I think it would be nice, no, Great to get a chapter going, I am already involved in a Bowling association, which is going thru large changes and I will be able to assist when I can and mostly be able to just participate!
I have been driving Fords most of my driving life! Back in the 60,70's My First Truck to learn to drive was a 1928 Ford, Crank was inclueded! Next was a 1968 F-100 with a platform bed, as I was in Northern Maine and the bed rotted away, but the cab was perfect! I went to Germany and blew a crylser 5th Avenue up and ordered a new 1993 F150 XLT supercab and kept it until I traded it and my Dads 92 F-350 in on a 1999 F-350 XLT supercab back in 2003, I traded that in on a 2004 F-150 supercab, and this time with a 6.5 Ft bed, but with a 5.4 Liter with a 3.73 rear-end, I didn't believe that a F-150 would pull our 9300 LBS 5th wheel camper, but what a powerful, impressive truck! I also took on a new challenge when I purchased a 1988 F-150 XL with the short bed and straight cab and a 6 cylinder that had a rod knock! then I bought a totaled 1990 F-350 with a 460 and Lariet cab, guess what? I Know have the 460 W/AOD trans and Lariet cab installed on the 1988 F-150, this will be my toy!
Do I Love Ford Trucks? You can make up your mind! I am still with some difficulty finishing the insillation (wireing, fuel, cooling), I am looking foward to this secret Ford F-150! Hope to get assistance from anyone that wants to assist!, I aint perfect! and can use some help!
Lets get a Chapter going, I will do what I can on-line to help! And I will also go to meeting as my time allows!
