replace those gauge lights?
i have my instrument cluster removed for an upgrade i'm having done on my '91 F250. should i put fresh bulbs in the cluster while it's out? does anyone know the average life of a 194 bulb?

On all the old cars and trucks I've had, I very rarely have to replace the instrument bulbs. In fact, I can't remember replacing any for bad bulbs. But I have had them go out, and it was always a corroded connection in the socket/bulb holder, or tarnish on the circuit board where the socket makes contact. You may just want to take a pencil eraser and clean all the copper connections, and then put it back together.
