ARRG Engine Mount Prob

Ok so i found out that 302 mounts will work for a 351w in my 76 f100...But now i cant find any mounts...Ford doesnt have em, the local wrecking yards dont have em...and so on and so forth. Does anyone have a set that they're willing to part with or know where i can get them? Im in desperate need and i dont wanna run a big block...im stuck with my 351w

Are you talking about the steel pillars? You will have to find them at the junk yard. Someone correct me but the 351M/400 pillars will take a 302, right? (I went from 302 to 400 without changing them, and if you say 351W=302 and I say 302=335 series then 351W will fit on 335 series pillars.)

yea i was told that too but i havent been able to find the pillars/towers anywhere

yea i dunno if ive tried sacremento yet...im only a couple hours north of it...i tried reno nevada and nothing

Well, all I can say is good luck. I don't know how may days I spent in yards doing a 400 to 390 swap in my 3/4 ton. Watch the classifieds also, I see ads for part-outs once in a while here.
