Emission light question after upgrades
I have installed on my '04 F-150 S.C. 5.4 4x4 an Airaid intake system and converted the single exit exhaust to a complete dual exhaust with 2 Flowmasters. The yellow emission problem light now has come on three times since the installation. The light goes off after I remove the negative battery terminal and let the truck sit for about an hour. I've checked the connections of the Airaid unit to the electronics and the seal to the engine. The tech support at Airaid said that removing the battery cable would allow the engine's computer to reset itself after the increased flow with the air intake and dual exhaust, but the light still ocassionally comes on. Anybody else have this problem?
