no 4wd

on my 02 f250sd i have lost the 4wd.you can hear the actuator engaging.the hubs seem to be the culprit.i can't turn them manually at all.any ideas? or should i swap them out for warn units? :-huh

Do you have ESOF?

You can swap them out for Warn units no problem, but if you do have ESOF, you will no longer have the "auto" feature.

Are they the stock hubs (Auto / Lock)? Have you taken them out and cleaned them up? Try to turn the dial with them off the truck to see if the are seized up.

hmm...

If it is 02, wouldnt the factory warranty still be in place? Why not bring it to the dealer for service?

well the warranty ewnt about 22,000 miles ago! i have 51000 miles on the truck.i'll take them off and see if they will clean up.willl keep you posted! it seems wd-40 should be given with every truck,i shure us a lot on this truck!
