Where can I find imformation on how to start to restore an old truck. I believe it is a 1962 F100, 6 cyl. I would like to change to a small block V-8 and add power steering and disc brakes. Any thoughts? You can email wr300@earthlink.net

How to restore an old truck: take truck apart, clean & repaint everything, put it back together. 
Seriously, probably everything you'd want to know has been covered here. Just do a search for topics as you need them, the search function on this site works pretty well.
Small block swaps have been covered before.
Disc brakes/power steering is generally done by installing a front 'clip' from an Aerostar, mid-size Mopar, or latest retrofit rumor newish Crown Victoria.
