door window replacement
Just now putting my 79 f150 back together, and I am getting to the point of putting the door windows back in ( a body / paint shop took them out to paint my truck, but they fired me and didnt paint the truck, so I painted it myself ) . I am needing pointers as to the sequence of re-installing them and the vent windows. I also have all new anti-rattle strips and felts to install. I have learned a lot by trial and error on this re-assembly. but dont want to break my windows or ruin my seals by making stupid mistakes. thanks for any tips,

I just did this to mine this past week. Install the felts into the channels. Then slide the window in the felts and let it rest on the bottom. Install the vent window while making sure the large window is in the felts. Then install the anti-rattle strips, install the window crank and you're done.
