Last night I noticed that my ABS light and my Brake light on my dashboard were on. I checked the emergency brake and it was fine. I had heard about the brake lights not working if this happened, so I checked them and they were fine. I checked the fluid level and it was also fine. At this point I'd say I have a fine truck.. However, I'm totally stumped on this issue. The brakes seem to be fine, I can't really tell a difference. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?
I had a similar thing happen to my '02. It turned out to be a bad wheel speed sensor. It was covered under warrenty, so that's about all I know about it. Sorry.
Hmmmm.. I'll have to look it up in my Chilton and see where thats at. Hopefully that is all and nothing too serious. BTW, if it is this, how much am I looking to spend to replace the sensor? I work on Monday and need to make sure I don't have to leave early and apply for a bank loan..
