fuel filter

which fuel filter has the cap made to the filter

The factory set-up is separate parts. I think most aftermarket filters are one-piece. There was a Hastings on my truck when I got it and it was a one-piecer, so that's the only one I am 100% sure about.........

I don't know what brand they are...but both of the local "big name" chain parts stores only carry the ones with the cap built in.

The Baldwin filter has the cap with it. This is what I use on my PSD...word of caution, got a bad one yesterday. When I went to change it, started the truck and fuel went every where. Retorqued it again and same thing. Took it back to the dealer and they replaced it. Put it on this morning and everything is ok.
