Wiring Tailights
How do I wire the taillights on my F100 ? I've identified the 2 turn signal wires and the wire energized by the headlight switch(total of 3 ). If I split the "headlight" wire, won't that cause the turn signals to act as 4 way flashers. There's only 2 wires leading from the tailight bulb. Also which wire should be used for the brake signal ? I've probably made this more difficult than it should be, thanks for any info.

You didn't mention the year or if there were separate turn signals so I'm guessing a little here. The tail lights should have 2 filaments in each bulb and a wire for each. The ground is through the chassis. Split the wire from the headlight switch as you suggested and wire to the dimmer filament in each lamp. Each turn signal wire goes to the brighter filament in the lamp. The brake lights should also work (through the turn signal wiring). Hope that helps.
