Small welder and compressor??
I will be using it for welding up some mirror holes, stakebed holes and lights on top of the cab...I have an ARC welder that I am not very good at...
When I get a compressor, will a larger one from Sears or Home Depot run an orbital sander for body work???
Thanks for the info!!!
Mike
an HH-175, it's 230v. I bought one last fall and have been very happy with it so far.
Using gas will leave a clean weld, unlike using flux core wire or stick welds.
By the way, Hobart is made by Miller... http://www.hobartwelders.com/
They have a forum that is loaded with good info.
compressor... get at least a 60 gal tank.
The direct drives are extremely noisy, go with a belt drive.
just my 2¢
