How many screws hold on your Auto Hubs if it is 5 screws you DO NOT need a "Conversion Kit" 3 Screws you need the conversion kit, I change to warns a year ago man these things are awesome money well spent, dont know why you have to change
the gear in the transfer case never heard of this
I didn't have to chande any gears.
As far as the conversion kit, it depends on which auto-hubs you had. Mine is a '95, so right on the auto-hub there are (3) screws holding the cap on. If this is what you have you will need the kit. I also wound up buying a few special tools to make it much easier, however I have since found you can rent these tools. Do a search on this site, you will find comprehensive instuctions, pics., and other info.
good luck
Thanks for the info.... I wanted to change to Manual hubs because Mine don't always lock. Looks like I can take back the conversion kit and buy beer with the money.
