I need to change my tank out, as the corners of it are leaking, rust is the cause, and would almost be impossible to use the sealent stuff on it as it is fairly widespread.
My question, should i just go to a wrecker (pick and pull here in salt lake) and grab a tank, or getting a new one better? New ones are kinda spendy, so im not sure if i would like to go that route. Is it legal to mount a gas tank inside on the floor behind the front seats?
Some had in-cab tanks that sat vertically behind the seat. You can get a used one, but it could have rust and or moisture in it. A new one is really the way to go.

What year is your truck?
I could hook you up with a new replacement tank, reasonably priced.
