simple front spring question
97 F250 7.3L HD 4x4 crew cab, with the leaf sprung IFS. I want to order new front springs to level the truck. Would F350 front springs bolt up and would they raise it enough? Or should I go after market and if so with whom?
I've also heard that swapping in an F350 solid front axle is a simple bolt on application with very little to no modification. Is it?

If you raise the front of your ifs truck you're gonna have to get some alignment brakets to lower the axles down so the tops of the tires don't lean out. As far as the solid axle front end, check out ORU www.offroadunlimited.com - I kind-of think I remember reading some info about it there?? Maybe even a kit minus the axle?? IMO - that would be the way to go - much simpler suspension lift and beefier front end!
