i have a 78 f250 4x4 400cid .the ground for the secondary ign. is in the distributor, right? should there be a screw or something for it? i was looking at mine and all i can see is just an eyelet but its not screwed down or anything, just kinda sitting on the dist base. the 3 wires come from the ign box, the ground stops at the distributor at the rubber grommeta dn i guess the ground connection is in this grommet? it doenst look right to me but...? if someone could tell me what its supposed to look like that would be great.
oh i should add: if the ground is suspect, would the ign not work at all or not properly or cut out once in a while kinda of thing. if i think the ground is nfg, could i ground this somewhere else or does it have to be in the distributor
thanx for the help
