New Expedition Purchase

I am in the ,market for a new expy for my wife. There are a few features that I absolutely have to get and I was wondering how you guys like these options.

I need the rear dvd entertainment for the kids.
any thoughts or suggestions?

I need the 2nd row captains chairs.
again, any thoughts or suggestions?

I need the 2nd row canopy safety feature... I guess that is just the side airbags?

I need the third row electronic folding seat. How well does this work?

Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The safety canopy is a curtain of air bags that cover the windows in the event of a roll over or side impact. Nice feature. The power third row is very nice to have. It folds completely flat and yet has ample leg room for six footers, works very well. The DVD system is over priced for what you get. For a little bit more money you can get an after market one that is much better along with an entire speaker upgrade for the truck. The OEM speakers aren't very good. just a suggestion.

what is the NBX model? what comes standard with this model? anyone have it and like or dislike it?

Thats the model I have, a 2004 NBX (No Boundries). It is the new badge for the previous badged FX4 model. The rims are a different design then any other model. It has the offroad package, 4x4 and the 5.4 standard. I like it very much. It is pretty much loaded except for leather seats.

You could get a XLT and load it up or an Eddie Bauer. I have an 03 EB, It has all thoose toys and more. However, I got an excellent deal on it as a left over. The rear DVD is nice because of the way it runs through the factory radio, BUT the speakers suck. They are easily upgradeable.
