Stalling Problem

My friends 7.3 runs a few miles then quits, he changed thefuel filter and looked a the rest of most everything, but it still stalls, does anyone have an idea what's wrong? he thinks maybe mechanical fuel pump that feeds the injector pump?

might be the CPS(camshaft position sensor) if the truck runs fine and than just dies, and then will fire right back up. it is comon problem on the 7.3's. if you do a search on "cps" or " cam position sensor" you will find all the info you need
