Can anyone help
I have a 302 motor, ID #'s E7TE-8817 CA...I was wanting to know if anyone could tell me where to find all the stock specs on this motor...Also does anyone know if this is a roller motor or an HO...

Hi mp388. E7TE means you have an 87 truck engine. E means 1980's, F is the 90's, D is the 70's, C is the 60's. So E7 is 87. TE means truck engine. I think it has the taller lifter bores for roller lifters, but has flat tappets, so it could take a roller if you wanted. Compression would be in the high 8's (just over 8.5/1) horsepower is 185. It's the H.O. roller lifter block without the rollers. I don't know why.
