I have a 2003 XLT with the new 4cyl and 5 speed transmission with 7000 miles on it. It has a vibration that feels like my feet are falling asleep. It goes away when the clutch is put in. Does anyone know if this is typical of the DOHC 4 cyl. I had the dealer drive it at 3800 miles and they didn't think anything seemed abnormal.

 

I would ask them to let you drive another truck similar to yours, doesn't sounds normal to me.
