Help with timing marks

On my 1990 351W EFI rebuild project there are no timing marks. There is a little round sight (?) hole and then a line on the crank. Am I supposed to just line up the line with the hole? Should I assume the line is 0 TDC? Should I get some timing tape with the marks on it and put it on there once I figure out what is what?
Sorry for all the questions, this is the first time I have ever tore and engine down and the Haynes and Chilton manuals don't have anything that looks like this in it.

Thanks,

Longneck

Look for lines and marks on your crank harmonic balancer. They range from 20 degrees After TDC to 30 degrees before TDC. Just to the right of the peep hole you should see a triangle. You want 10 degrees before TDC.
