F150's should all be 5 on 5.5". That is for 80-96 and possibly older. The '97 up have 5 on 139mm if I'm not mistaken.

ok i just asked a friend here in the city and he said the center hole is bigger in the 4x4 rim to acomodate the different size hubs and he said he is pretty sure that the lug pattern is spaced differently too...i hope he is wrong about the different spacing of the lug holes...

any help from a knowledgeable source is much appreciated at this point...

thanks in advance,dave in n.y.

natewoz, 97-03 and 04 Heritage are 5X135. New 04s are 6X135. Also the 5X5.5" does go back farther than 80. I am not sure how far back, but could be quite a ways.

AFAIK, the 5 on 5.5" pattern goes back to at least 1967, maybe further than that.

The center hole may be bigger, I am not sure. The lug spacing is the same.
Ford79, thanks for the info. My first truck was a 78, and it had the 5.5" pattern.
