I finally found someone with a bellhousing for my truck for $35 plus $25 S/H. The casting numbers on mine are TCAL 7505A. The place that has one is off of a 59 F250 with casting numbers TBAB 7505A , which is from a 292 w/ a 4 speed. Mine is the exact same motor/trans except mine is a 272. Does anyone know if these are the same things, will it work for my truck? Or should I have a welding shop attempt to weld mine, but I dont know how much that would cost, or if it will work. The crack in my bellhousing is right at the frame mount and is kind of seperated, It would have to be somehow held together before it is welded, which might be hard/impossible.
Thanks for the help, Derek

Derek, I've got two TCAL-B. I think one difference is that later trucks had hydraulic clutches and the bellhousing had the boss for the cylinder. I don't know the answer for sure, but I'd have to guess that the 59 bell would work.
WOOOHOO, lol. Thanks for telling me, I keep forgeting to look. just bid $50 on it, I have a feeling that its going to get a lot higher, but it is definatly something I need.
