average order time
I was just wondering what the average order time was for everones truck. The dealership cant find me the truck i want so they said they will probably have to order it. They said it would be 6 to 8 weeks but i just wanted to get a real world time frame.

Took me exactly 4 weeks from order date to picking up at the dealer. Your results may vary, of course. I ordered a super cab lariat 4x4 with a few options...nothing out of the ordinary like DVD system or anything like that.

I think mine is the exception...It took 13 days from order to my driveway. I live only a few miles from the Norfolk Plant and my salesman drove it from the plant for me. I can't see many people beating it unless they know someone. I still had to pay delivery, but it was worth it to reduce the wait. It was the longest 2 weeks of my life. It has EVERY available option on the Lariat (Toreador w/ black leather interior).

Ordered Feb 24. It arrived at the dealer on Tuesday Apr 27. So that was 10 weeks to the day. I will be picking it up on Monday. Don't know why it took so long. I am in Edmonton, AB but I do know from the VIN that the truck was built at the Norfolk, VA plant.
