where could I get a snorkel intake for my ford pickup?

where could I get a snorkel intake for my ford pickup?

I have a 1989 ford f350 and I want to throw a snorkel on it, Any ideas on where I could get one?

You can try to adapt a snorkel from a HMMV to your pickup, but you will probably need more than that if you plan to do any real deep-water fording. Check out this kit for a HMMV:

In addition to the air intake and exhaust pipes, you should also protect other things, like vents for the differentials and transmission, fluid fill tubes, and electrical connections.

And there's one more important thing to do after fording...………...check the differentials and hubs for water. Oil seals keep oils in, they do NOT keep water out. Me personally ? I would never buy a vehicle that's got a snorkel on it.

Same here. all it does is gives the illusion that you can go in deeper water than you really should, only thing I thought about doing if I could make it work was knock out the other plug on the driver side of my core support and mount my spare fresh air duct and run a mustang dual snorkel air cleaner.
