Fuel Filter?

Where is the fuel filter on a 1982 300cid with a 1bbl? And how do you change it?
At about 60mhp the truck feels like it is choking, and running out of gas. If I push the gas pedal it makes it worse. It has happened at slower speeds, but is prevalent at highway speed. I think it is the gas filter not letting enough through to the carb.

On my 86 flareside with efi 302 it is on the inside of the frame rail, just about under the driver's floor. With a 300, it shouldn't be too hard to follow the fuel line back to it.

It should screw right in to the carb with the fuel line screwing into it.

Should only have pressure on it when the engine is running. Not much fuel spillage after sitting a while, couple of rags under filter should do. This thing is small!
