i am in the final negotiations on buying a new f250 6.0l tomorrow and just found out the build date on the truck is 11/26/03. i am working on getting the engine build date. should this throw up a red flag since it has an 03 date? will be a 1st time diesel owner and this site has been very helpfull.

it should be an 04 engine, they made the switch from the 03 to the 04 engine on Sept 29, 03
