Though I don't have either a chip or programmer, my feeling is that a programmer has several advantages for those who can use them. At the top of the list of threads, is information regarding the special deals that are available through this site. Ken really knows his stuff, and you can learn a great deal by reading those two threads.
My truck is one of the wierd ones that can't use a programmer, so I'm giving some serious thought to the Diablo Delta chip.
This site also has an entire forum dedicated to chips. Crack open a cold one, (or several), and enjoy your reading!!!
