transmission fluid change question
My 2000 buick lesabre has 60000 miles and its time to change the transmission fluid. No problem changing it myself but I was wondering would it be better to take it to a shop that can pump the whole system out. I was wondering whether the filter gets changed though. Any suggestions as to what is the best way to go 04f-150fx4 5.4 with no vibration

a front wheel drive car like that, get it flushed with a machine.
If you simply drop the pan in a car like that you aren't going to get a majority of the dirty fluid out.
In the buick you can pull the radiator hardline off and pump the fluid out then drop the pan, but you still won't get it all.
Always change the filter with every service, its a 10 dollar no brainer.
